When a had the 7100 and just burned corn everything was great, but prices sky rocketed I tried to turn the 7100 into a multiFuel. The results I was not happy with, I bought a Multifuel 8500 and love running pellets, but I hope corn falls so I can burn it again. It maybe the time to invest in a new multifuel stove for some of you, but you will like the results

Kind of happy, corn looks to be 3 to 4 and pellets around here are 200 a ton. Glad that I bought a new stove looking for many warm years to come.

Just wondering what is everybody running for a UPS Backup, what should I look for, never had one on the 7100, but now I am looking for one for the US 8500. The manual says it needs 1100 how big should I get.

I am in se Wisconsin and I am heating 1750sqf. I bought this stove because my 7100 was hooked up to my heating ducts and there are not that many stoves out there that have the feature. I got interested in the 8500 because of heat but I also got it for a great price of $1953 and $140 to ship it from Rural King out of Illinois. I was so tired of cleaning the 7100 tubes all the time from pellets, and I wanted a stove that would also burn corn, we are all setup for corn (burned it for 7 years). So far so good and my wife loves the temp of the house. So it's a win win.

Update......
Changed the pr-1, C-1 setting to 3.00 lbs per hour, also changed the pr-5, C-3 (highest heat range) to 7.00. Also installed the us stove cold air return on the back of the stove and it's 78 degrees in the house. This is a great stove, much better than the Amaizablaze 7100. This week might go below zero at night can't wait to see this stove work.

Well I purchased a US Stove 8500 to replace my 7 year old Amaizablaze 7100 and what a difference. The 8500 is well built and no tubes to clean yea. The only problem is at the the setting of pr1 the house is 82 degrees. I have to find a way to slow this thing down, any ideas?

An update, after having problems burning pellets, I finally figured it out, I now use both the internal and external fans. I wired the fans that I could shut one done if necessary, I have about 30 ft of exhaust pipe and found that the new external fan could not handle it. Now for a month I have run pellets about a ton with no problems. It works great.

Just a small update, talked to Bruce at Sparta coop, what a great guy. He told me that the stove was not getting enough air, so I removed the room fan and backed out the adjuster. A lot more heat blue bottom and yellow tops on the flames. We will see what happens, stay tuned.

It jammed at 2am this morning, after removing it I looked up into the shoot and it was clean. I installed the auger for pellets again on the motor, I had the original auger in it to see if it made a difference, it didn't. I think now I know why the bushing on the auger has to move because when it starts to jam it tries to back it's way clear right. So that bushing now spins on the shaft freely, I made sure of that. Reinstalled everything so pray it works. Bob

From the collar that is bolted to the auger shoot, the auger can move about an inch in and out (towards the shoot and away from the shoot.) I didn't think that it should be able to move that far. I have a call into Nesco they have called back yet.

I have checked nothing I can see, should the auger have over a 1 inch travel going into the tube? That doesn't seem right to me. I am burning corn now with no problems. Guys I need more help.

Hi I am new to this forum so I may ask dumb questions but here goes. I have a 7100 that I have burned corn in for 7 years and really never had a problem. This year with corn being so high priced I bought the Sparta system to change over to pellets. In the 7 years of corn I never took the auger a part, but with pellets I am constantly removing the auger to clean the jam. I have tried two types of pellets both jam the auger. I have replaced the auger with the recommended one for pellets but I still have jams. What is wrong? I only need to run pellets until the end of December than I can run corn that I saved from Last year. Can anybody help? Talked to sparta they said try different pellets.
