We also have rock wall cellar walls which could be very drafty. We can't cover our vents as the oil furnace also runs. The stove is a supplement.

Hi,
Thank you! Yes you are correct the stove is upstairs and furnace is downstairs. I must have a leak or leaks as I notice the draft of cold air from several of the registers. Where do you think the best place to start looking for leaks?

I have used a 6039 for four years and have had the fresh air kit installed for the last two. Even with the fresh air kit installed, I still notice cold air being pulled in through the oil furnace ducts when the oil furnace isn't running. The 6039 isn't connected to any ducts. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I thought connecting the stove to the outside air would eliminate this, but it hasn't.
