If you are using a loop off your DHW tank
then you already have back up heat
Just throw the breaker back on and the DHW tank will keep the system from freezing, As long as you keep the circulation pumps running
We Had the combustion fan pack it in just before christmas this year Been Running 24/7 for 4 years
Between the 40 gallon electric and 60 gallon oil fired hot water tanks
It kept the water temp around 100 degrees
The oil furnace never kicked in just the fan for the air handler
Called the dealer that evening and had a fan the next afternoon

It might be the auger feed
Push the switch and it over rides the board
Charge up the auger if it got empty or give it a little more fuel

We had one of them for 8 years in the office
The best thing we did was throw out the controller change it from a bottom feed to a top drop
Cheap change is take a QD switch out of a Grain Comfort should last darn near forever
Lots of little crevices to clean
Watch the bottom of the exhaust for dirt and the top of the heat exchanger
We had one of the pipe plugs seize solid on us
Dont get me wrong the stove will make lots of heat the way it is now
But you can get a lot more after the conversion
Just have to roll out the clink once a day and never shut it off

Feed all on max except high 3 from top
-29 c -20.2 f tonight
Burned 1 hopper of corn 11 hours
Gotto watch when you open the door the fire comes right out at ya

What is the air at on the other settings?

How dry is the corn???
The dryer the better

If your are melting the stirrator turn your air down
