Thank you! I don't use the agitator motor so I haven't put in a grease zerk. There is no way to lubricate the fan motors right? One of them started squeaking the other day so I sprayed some wd-40 on the shafts. Probably only a temp fix though.

When pulling the room and exhaust fans to clean them, do you have to put in a new gasket or can you reuse the one that is there?
Do you just vacuum the fan blades or is there anything else you need to do to clean them?
Any other advice while the side panels are pulled off?
This is on a 6041
Thank you!

I don't have a 6220 so I'm not sure how it works, but would a couple self-tapping screws right beside the old screws work instead of trying to drill the old ones out?

Wow I had no idea that you could do this with the stove. I changed the minimum to 1.5 and seems to be much better. Running on CR-2 right now, flames a 2-3 inches above firepot. 13* outside and the house is 73 inside. Thanks a ton and have a great Christmas!

I feel kind of dumb, but how do you adjust the feed rates other than changing the heat range on the stove? Couldn't find anything about it in the manual. Thank you!

I have a 6041 burning with a clinker pot. The stove puts out tons of heat, and when it gets up to around 40-45 degrees outside It gets too hot in the house burning on CR-1 so I have to shut the stove down. On CR-1 the flame is 4-5 inches high(about 1 or 2 inches about the burn pot). When it gets down to around 20 or below I turn it up to CR-2. The question is on CR-2 the flame is so big it touches the top of the stove at times. Shouldn't there be a little in between? Would hate to see how big the flame is when it is on CR-5. Anybody else notice this?

I have a 6041 and usually burn on Cr-1 with a clinker pot. I do change it from automatic because I turn the room fan up to 2 or 3. I feel like I can capture more heat that way. The only time I turn it to Cr-2 is when it gets 15 degrees or lower outside. Usually pull the clinker once a day and let it run 24/7

Ok another question. Most of the time this winter I have been able to burn on Cr-1. I pull the clinker every evening when home from work. This week it got pretty cold so I bumped up to Cr-2. Burns great but when I go to pull the clinker it is stuck in there so hard that it wont come out. If I force it, the clinker just breaks and most of it sticks to the walls of the pot. So I tried pulling in the morning and evening, but then the clinker isn't hard enough, and the hanger comes out with not much clinker attached.
What I am thinking is this. Next pot I build I need to build it at more of a taper. Also, my hangers are just a piece of 1/2" rebar bent into an L shape. I know many of you have made hangers that have two pieces of metal on the bottom. Maybe that would help? Anybody have this trouble? Once again thanks for all your help.

I like the idea of dropping the deflector down a little. Next pot I build I will have to do that. How long have your guys' pot's been lasting? Thanks

Anybody ever have trouble with the corn bouncing out of the clinker pot? Isn't a huge issue but adds up over time. I'd say in a week, corn builds up on the sides on the pot up to the door. Don't really want to build up the front and sides of the pot as it will block some of the view of the fire. Has anybody made a pot without the little angle deflector in the middle? Seems to be bouncing off of that. Thanks

This is my first season with my 6041 and I love it. Although I haven't got run it the past week because highs have been above 50. Guess I can't complain about that. I don't have any experience with the pinnacle brand, but I used to have a Quadrafire Castille which is I think 35,000 btu. It is much nicer having a bigger stove. Another thing I like about the 6041 is that you can change all of the settings to suit your situation with the push of a few buttons.

Loving the clinker pot so far, been running for almost a week straight. Cr-2 at night and Cr-1 during the day, keeps the house 75 degrees. Pull the clinker every evening. Thanks for all your guy's help!

Thanks for the help. Woke up again this morning and the stove was off, not sure what happened but had the agitator running.
So if I understand right, if you open the hopper lid, it stops the feed auger from turning, but the igniter will stay on?

Does anybody at all recommend using the agitator? I have access to oyster shells and didn't know if they helped enough to keep using it. I haven't had time to make a clinker pot, and tried running clinker style with the original pot and it didn't work so well. Worked for a couple hours and then built up into the feed chute. So I put the agitator back in, we'll see how it does tonight.
Also is there any way on start up to make the motor not dump a pile of corn in the burn pot? The auger delay button don't work when it is trying to fill the pot for the initial light. You have to have pellets in the pot to light and it's hard to get a fire going when it dumps a bunch of corn on top right away.

Thanks for the help, aux was on 0. I do have something supporting the Tee on the bottom because it is too much weight. About 14' of pipe to get to the roof. I just need to make something more permanent. I will try the tape and see what happens. No fumes get into the house, only smoke on start up. Thanks
