I've never had that one happen. Any chance a power surge or dip in power fried your board??? Did you try to factory reset it?

There are lots of fellow burners storing in gravity wagons over the summer. Search the old forum. I know there were lots of pictures of how they made a roof for their wagons. Also lots of discussion about moisture from storage.

If I'm not mistaken Wales is running a 6039 US stove.
Wales- What was the price per ton for you this year? I'm still getting for $180 a ton.

We leave ours open in the winter. Seal it off with duct tape when we are done running. If you put an elbow on the end of it (with the elbow down) it helps keep screens from freezing up. We had our nephew make out OAK out of muffler pipe, so he just put a bend in it for us.

Homebuilt, that reminded me they don't have to be three to do these things. My 12 year old was having trouble with the DVD player so she decided to clean it out with dust off. Did you realize that the carb cleaner can looks like dust off???

Wow, sounds like your furnace was built on a friday!! Or the Monday after the superbowl!! I have a US Stoves, 6039 which is a free standing unit, not a furnace. I've had it for 5 years. I remember US stove replaced my board for me once right after I got it, but that was because it was the old version of a board and someone had something locally that worked on the same frequency and messed with my board. I replaced the glass this summer, it cracked, and I just replaced both blowers, and the gaskets. I think that is all that has gone wrong with mine. It's been pretty reliable, just a learning curve. IMHO they are a good workhorse stove for the money. If I had spent more, I would expect more.
I bet US stoves will replace the stove for you. Try to talk to a human instead of email. They have always been pleasant when I have talked to them. Although, it sounds like with all the new parts, you have a new stove!!!

OK, so I kept at it and found out that hubby had adjusted the fresh air this morning. my burn pot was outside temp cold. So I closed that off part way. Got the fire going, and it looked nice. Internal temp came up, blower fan kicked on, made a funny noise and kicked off within a minute. This is not good.

Ok, so I cracked that beer (actually a diet coke). And reset, but it didn't reset so I used the p9 function. Now I can't keep the stove running. I can't keep the fire lit. Help please! Hubby is going to be really pissed when he gets home! Would like to keep peace in the house.

Do you think I have to leave it unplugged for very long? I tried unplugging waiting a few seconds and plugged it back in. I bet it is like a modem and needs at least a minute to reset right?

I have a 6039 with the version 34 chip and ABC board. I am running clinker style in the original burn pot. Everything was going well until a day or two ago. Now I am getting too much corn feed. When I press the A once I have a 0 4, on the second press of A I have a 1 8. These don't even seem to be the right numbers shouldn't I have something between 1 5 and 5 5? I can't figure out how to slow the corn feed down. We are just filling the burn pot and getting no heat!!
We have had a few flickers of power recently, so I guess the board could have gotten fried. But I would think that the thing would not run if that were the case.

We've got about a foot of new white stuff. Boss called and told me to go back to bed. It's still snowing here. The schools were closed for Presidents Day, but they closed the University (almost unheard of) and Corning Community College (unheard of)

My husband and I were watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire while we were in bed.
I turned to him and said, 'Do you want to have Sex?'
'No,' he answered. I then said,
'Is that your final answer?'
He didn't even look at me this time, simply saying, 'Yes..'
So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend."
And that's when the fight started....

Are you sure they are not there? Because we lose our politicians in PA quite often, but usually it's only because we overlooked them. You see they tend to be a lot shorter when they are bent over with their head up their ass.
