Well I think it might have been more of what i didn't do and not so much the auger or anything the stove was doing wrong. I took the exhaust blower assembly off and gave it a thorough cleaning and it seems to have cured my problem. I thought i had cleaned it good last spring but i guess not good enough.

hey pipelayer.
did you ever get a stove? I have the Fahrenheit and i can tell you that it is a heating beast. i thought i was having trouble with the auger but it was more a problem that i didn't clean the exhaust fan good enough this fall. I heated last year with 100% pellets w/no problems and this year i had a great corn crop and am heating with a 70-30 corn to pellet mix. This stove is amazing in the amount of heat produced. You wont regret the purchase, and i also hear the customer service is the best. (I haven't had to use it yet tho) When i bought my stove it had the old board and the came to the house and replaced it before i could even send in the reg. card. whatever your choice is good luck.

Hi guys i was just wondering if any of you Fahrenheit users know how to slow down the auger speed or time it runs on start up. If i can nurse mine past the first ash dump it will usually run for a week straight, but if i just start it up and walk away the darn thing will flood over with unburnt corn and pellets. It just seems to me that on the start up the auger is running way to long and not waiting long between runs. this is my second year of using this stove and last year with pellets we had no issues but this year i had a great corn crop so i am doing a 30-70 mix. Corn is screened and about 14% moisture. Hope someone can steer me in the right direction.
Thanks
