Repair and Troubleshooting Videos

Most times I have a little trouble, the video camera isn't around. So most of these videos are done after the fact. Explaining what I have done.

While I was gone for a few days (naturally) the wife woke up to a cold house. Luckily my friend, neighbor and fellow corn burner, Jason came down and fixed it and got her back to burning with corn status. I had Jason stop down and explain for the video what he did to fix it just in case it comes up again.

Here is one of those rare cases where I got lucky and caught something working itself out. I stopped down in the basement to check the fire, only to find it was out. Something jammed in the cup motor and I was able to capture the symptoms on video. On the second time of starting the feed up to show the motor jam, it cut through it. This is what you need to watch for when you are having feed problems. If it is the cup auger that is jammed, you will see this, the motor spins up and then freezes. Then, it will spin in the oposite direction when power is removed.
